Dr William Wilkie has been through an initiation ritual where he was accepted as a member of an indigenous Australian group called the Jurrawa, at a sacred site near Toowoomba in south-east Queensland, Australia. Since then he wrote a book called The Jurrawa Men’s Handbook and a synthetic Australian Aboriginal language called Modern Murri.
